Pukekohe High School Stage Band
Pukekohe High School’s Stage Band has spent over 20 years performing at festivals across the North Island, earning a reputation as a powerful big band, equally at home performing swing classics, rock and funk hits, as well as expressive lyrical ballads. In 2025, the band achieved third place at the Jazz Band-It national finals in Wellington and most recently received a Gold Award at the Tauranga Jazz Festival National Youth Jazz Competition. The band’s performance at Finale will feature highlights from that award-winning set, alongside new material currently being prepared for festivals later in the year.
Gianna and Ariane
Ariane and Gianna Cordeiro are dedicated young musicians from Sancta Maria College whose musical talents shine across school, church, and community stages. Both perform with church choirs, the CAMA Choir under Gina Sanders, and the GOANZ Choir, appearing at cultural events and special occasions including the Melting Pot Ensemble Showcase, ANZAC Day commemorations, and the NZ FGBMFI Convention.
Ariane, a soprano, has achieved NZMEB Grade 6 Singing with Excellence, Trinity College Speech & Drama with Distinction, the Roberto Nascetti Scholarship for wind/brass, and top awards at the Tauranga Jazz & Blues Festival and the KBB Music Festival. She also serves as a Leader across multiple teams at her college, is a committed Student Ambassador, and co-directs the children’s choir at her parish.
Gianna, an alto, has earned NZMEB Grade 5 Singing with Merit, Trinity College Speech & Drama with Distinction, and top awards at the KBB Music Festival and Jazz & Blues competitions. At school, she is an active member of the Senior Choir, Junior Jazz Band, and Worship Band, and co leads the Festival Choir alongside Ariane. She also contributes as a Student Ambassador and Environment Leader and co-directs the children’s choir at her parish.
Together, Ariane and Gianna bring artistry, leadership, and heart to every ensemble they are part of.

Olivia Duan
Olivia Duan is indeed a versatile young performer based in Auckland. She is currently studying in Year 5 in Mellons Bay, Auckland . She is recognized for her extensive skills across multiple disciplines in the performing arts.
Performing Arts Profile
Olivia’s background includes high-level training and competitive success in:
- Vocal & Musical Theatre: She is a frequent winner at the South Auckland Performing Arts Competitions (SAPACS), where she has secured first-place finishes in Vocal Solo and Musical Theatre. Also, one of the winners of the Christchurch Performing Arts Competition in 2025.
- Dance: Her dance training is comprehensive, spanning Ballet, Tap Dance, Latin Dance, and Jazz.
- Musician: She plays the bass and has performed as part of musical groups.
Olivia is a girl who loves stages and is always prepared for the next one.
Saem Millward
Saem Millward is a second year law student at the University of Auckland, who has a deep passion for music. He started singing in choirs in high school, and got involved in jazz musical theatre. In 2023 he joined the New Zealand Secondary Students Choir, where he developed connections with the world of classical singing and vocal pedagogy. Saem started singing lessons and saw some success in classical singing during high school, placing 3rd in the Performing Arts Competition Association New Zealand (PACANZ) Classical Singing Competition in 2024. Subsequently, he studied voice at the University of Auckland School of Music last year. In his spare time Saem busks Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Michael Buble tunes on Queen Street as a side hustle during his legal studies. He also writes and produces pop and rnb music, showing an interest in almost every genre of music.
